WHAT IS AN IMAGE GURU?
One who creatively changes, enhances or evolves any particular project thru nuances of creative expression, with references to societal mores, an expert with knowledge of fashion, politics, economics, art, and lifestyle trends both past and present. One who also must have the ability to forecast and predict what will be before it is!
Today more than ever before, image plays into so many aspects of life. What is politics but entertainment and entertainment political. As an artist peruses his canvas, so too does an image guru assess his client’s need for change and how to accomplish that objective. More than just a “spin doctor” or “trend forecaster”, an Image Guru is one-part publicist, one-part marketer, one-part manager and one-part life-stylist with the experience and credentials in those arenas.
What the eye sees and the brain thinks is image related. An Image Guru sets concepts and visual presentations into play for people, places and things and makes them palatable and translatable to the public. Simply put, we take given variables and situations and make them better for the client; a hybrid creative director for our client’s life stages.
Positive Image is power and that power is attainable thru the efforts of an Image Guru. |
Montgomery Frazier is arguably one of the original “Image Gurus” and has an impressive track record to back this claim. His extensive knowledge of culture as a whole has afforded him an impressive career with a “Who’s Who” of clients, an image maven with a presence of vision and style.
